Social Network Snapshot
This image shows Credence users (small boxes) and correlations
between users (lines connecting boxes). The color of each box
represent the number of times the users has rated a file. There
are 921 users shown in all, of which 493
are connected together in the center of the image. Most of the
remaining 428 outlying users (at right) have
voted very few times. A few of these outliers have voted more
often, but on very obscure or unpopular files. In both cases, the
result is very few correlations for these users. The
diameter of the central connected component is 5,
meaning that any pair of users is connected by a chain of at
most 5 links.
Other images show other data organized in various formats:
-
Average Vote - This image is
similar to the above, but colored according to the average of
each users votes. This clearly shows the difference in users
that consistently vote in one direction, versus users that
have a mix of both positive and negative votes.
-
Number of correlations - Similar
again, but colored by the the number of correlations each user
has computed (i.e. degree of each node).
-
Correlation Strength - This image
has each link colored by the strength of the correlation.
-
Files in Common - Shows
each link colored by the number of files voted on in common
between the each pair of users.
File Popularity
This graph shows the distribution of file popularity, as measured
by the number of Credence users having voted on the file. A total
of 39761 votes were cast in all, on 35690
unique files. This list of files is ranked according to
popularity, and arranged along the horizontal axis. The height of
each point then shows how many votes were cast for that particular
file.
